ICE Arrests 150 Child Predators | Swalwell Mortgage Fraud | Judge Releases Illegals

00:09
Hey, what is up, Patriots? And happy Friday. This is O'Connor's Quick Strike, and I'm John O'Connor. Three stories the mainstream media won't cover or will completely twist beyond recognition, delivered in roughly 15 minutes or so. No fluff, no BS, no filler. Just the unvarnished truth peppered with my own take on what's really going on. We do this every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. As always, if you haven't already,

00:37
Go ahead and just deftly tap that like, subscribe, and or follow button. Every single one of your deft taps helps get our message out there to more folks who need to hear it. Today is Friday, November 14th, and I've got three stories for you today that perfectly sum up what's happening in America right now. We've got Trump and DeSantis actually protecting our kids while Biden's border disaster left predators roaming free.

01:06
We've got an activist judge trying to release hundreds of detained illegal aliens because, get this, ICE didn't have warrants. And we're closing with Eric Swalwell. Mr. Trump is a criminal, getting referred to the DOJ for mortgage fraud. Let's get into it. Yesterday, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem held a press conference in Florida and announced something that should make every parent in America

01:35
breathe a little easier. ICE just wrapped up a 10-day operation in Florida that resulted in the arrest of over 230 criminal illegal aliens, including 150 sexual predators who targeted children. Let me say that again, 150 illegal alien child predators arrested in one operation. They're calling it Operation Dirtbag, and patriots, that name couldn't be more fitting.

02:04
Secretary Noem didn't mince words. I call this operation dirtbag because these individuals were not just sex offenders. They targeted children. Some of these charges include sexual assault, battery, attempted homicide. These 150 illegal aliens will be gone and off our streets. This operation ran from October 25th through early November and it was a joint effort between

02:30
ICE and Florida law enforcement under Governor Ron DeSantis. This is what happens when you have a governor who actually gives a damn about protecting his citizens and a federal government willing to do its job. Let me give you some specifics on who they caught, because the mainstream media sure as hell won't. Sergio Carnero, a 63-year-old illegal from Cuba convicted of fondling a child

02:57
An immigration judge ordered him deported back in 2017. That's eight years ago. He was still here. Victor Julio Silva Diaz, a 26-year-old from Venezuela convicted of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a child under 13 years old. Vladimir Garcia, 48 years old from Cuba convicted of lewd and battery on a child between 12 and 15 years old. Plus...

03:27
violating sex offender registry requirements. Frank Borges, another Cuban national convicted of sexual battery of a minor. And here's one that'll really get your blood boiling. One of these freaking animals had been arrested 19 times since coming to the United States. His rap sheet includes homicide, assault on law enforcement officers, robbery, and kidnapping.

03:53
He was convicted of molestation of a nine-year-old child. 19 arrests and still just walking around in Biden's America. These people had already been convicted. They'd already served time in many cases. Immigration judges had already ordered them deported. But under Biden's catch and release insanity, they were just here, living in our communities, near our schools.

04:23
near our children. ICE Deputy Director Madison Sheehan said it best, thanks to Governor DeSantis' leadership, we have been able to set the tone for the nation of removing the worst of the worst. And here's the thing, Florida has become the model for how this should work. They've gotten over 335 agreements with local law enforcement through what's called the 287G program.

04:52
which gives state and local officers immigration authority to work with ICE. You know what that means? It means when a local cop in say Tampa or Jacksonville arrests someone and finds out they're here illegally with a criminal record, they can just do something about it instead of just cutting them loose. Secretary Noem said they're going to replicate this model across the country. She specifically called out sanctuary cities saying,

05:20
They advertise themselves as safe havens for criminal illegal aliens. You know what she's talking about. Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, all these Democrat run cities that would rather protect illegal alien criminals than protect American children. The contrast couldn't be clearer. Governor DeSantis welcomes ICE with open arms. Meanwhile, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson

05:50
are fighting ICE every step of the way, calling enforcement operations un-American. You know what's un-American? Letting child molesters walk free because you're more worried about your political brand than protecting our kids. Here's the bottom line. These 150 predators are off of our streets because Trump put people in charge who actually care about enforcing our laws, and because the Santas created an environment where federal and state authorities can work.

06:20
together. Now let me show you the flip side. While we got ICE doing the hard work of catching criminals, we've got federal judges trying to undo all of it. On Wednesday, federal district judge Jeffrey Cummins in Illinois indicated he's going to order the release of over 300 illegal aliens who were arrested by ICE. His reasoning? They were arrested without warrants.

06:49
Let me walk you through this insanity. Judge Cummins held a hearing on a lawsuit filed by, surprise, surprise, the ACLU of Illinois and the National Immigrant Justice Center. They are claiming that ICE violated something called the Casanononpa Settlement, which prohibits warrantless immigration arrests in Illinois. So Judge Cummins,

07:14
has already ordered DHS to immediately release 13 detainees being held in Texas, Missouri, and other states. By some time today, DHS has to hand over documents on 615 people the ACLU suspects were arrested without warrants. And by November 21st, the judge wants at least 313 people released on bond. Here's what kills me.

07:43
These aren't people who wandered across the border looking for a better life. Many of these are true criminals. But because some judge in Illinois thinks ICE didn't dot every I and cross every T on the paperwork, they are going to walk free. Mark Fleming, one of the ACLU lawyers, actually said at a press conference, all of the tactics of ICE have been unlawful in the vast, vast majority of arrests. Really?

08:13
The vast, vast majority of ICE arrests are unlawful. That's the position we are taking now. This is what we're dealing with. Trump puts people in charge who want to enforce immigration law, and immediately federal judges, many of them appointed by Obama or Biden, start throwing up roadblocks. And here's the kicker. This could affect up to 3,000 illegal aliens currently in custody. 3,000!

08:42
So let me get this straight. Operation Dirtbag arrests 230 criminal aliens in Florida and that's great, but one judge in Illinois can potentially force the release of 3,000? The math doesn't work, folks. DHS is appealing and they've asked for a stay, but who knows how long that'll take to work through the system. In the meantime, these people are either getting released or sitting in limbo. You wanna know why immigration enforcement is so difficult?

09:12
It's not just the border, it's activist judges who care more about procedure than outcomes. It's the ACLU filing lawsuits on behalf of people who have no right to be here in the first place. It's Democrats in places like Illinois creating sanctuary policies that tie the hands of federal law enforcement. The Casananabas settlement that this whole case is based on, it's from a lawsuit claiming that warrantless arrests violate people's rights.

09:41
Never mind that these are people who entered the country illegally. Never mind that many of them have criminal records. Never mind that they've already been ordered deported by immigration judges. No, what matters is that ICE didn't have a warrant when they picked them up. This is the kind of legal gymnastics that makes regular Americans want to pull their hair out. Judge Cummins is essentially saying, I don't care if someone is here illegally.

10:10
I don't care if they've committed crimes. If ICE didn't have the exact right piece of paper at the exact right time, they go free. This is judicial activism at its finest. Or worst. Depending on how you look at it. One unelected judge in Illinois is making immigration policy for the entire country because he thinks ICE's procedures weren't up to his standards. Meanwhile, the people who actually have to live with the consequences

10:38
The communities where these illegal aliens will be released don't get a say. The good news is that DHS is fighting this. They are appealing. And with Trump back in office, you'd better believe they're not going just to roll over. But this case shows you exactly what we're up against. For every operation dirtbag that succeeds, there's some judge somewhere trying to tear it all down. One. And now for our final story.

11:07
Though this one makes me smile. So let's talk about Congressman Eric Swalwell. You remember Swalwell, right? The Democrat from California who dated a Chinese spy named Feng Feng? The guy who's been one of Trump's most vocal critics for the past decade? Mr. Trump-is-a-criminal-who-belongs-in-jail? Yeah, that guy. Well, yesterday, the news broke that Bill Polt, the director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency,

11:34
has referred Swalwell to the Department of Justice for a federal criminal investigation into mortgage fraud and tax fraud. The allegation? Swalwell claimed his Washington, D.C. home, valued at $1.2 million, as his primary residency to get favorable term loans when he actually lives in California. We are talking about several million dollars worth of loans and refinancing that Swalwell

12:01
allegedly secured by lying about where he lives. The referral calls for investigations into possible mortgage fraud, state and local tax fraud, insurance fraud, and any related crimes. Now, Swalwell is the fourth prominent Democrat to face mortgage fraud allegations in recent months. The others? New York Attorney General Letitia James, Senator Adam Schiff of California, and Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook.

12:31
Notice a pattern. These are all Trump's biggest critics. All of them. And before you say political persecution, let me remind you, these investigations started under the Biden administration. The FHFA has been looking into mortgage fraud for years. It's just that now, with Trump back in office and people who actually care about corruption in charge, they are finally doing something about it.

13:01
Swalwell predictably went on X and played the victim. He posted, As the most vocal critic of Donald Trump over the last decade and as the only person who still has a surviving lawsuit against him, the only thing I'm surprised about is that it took him this long to come after me. He added,

13:32
Oh, spare me. First of all, Eric, you dated a Chinese spy. You were on the House Intelligence Committee while you being honey-potted by a foreign agent. Your credibility on national security or anything else is shot. Second, this isn't about Trump coming after you. This is about you potentially committing mortgage fraud.

13:56
If you claimed your DC house as your primary residence to get better loan terms when you actually live in California, that's a crime. You don't get to wrap yourself in the flag and cry persecution because someone's finally investigating your shady financial dealings. And let's talk about the hypocrisy here. Swalwell has spent years demanding that Trump be investigated, prosecuted, and thrown in jail for everything under the sun. He was once

14:24
He was one of the impeachment managers during Trump's second impeachment. He's filed lawsuits against Trump. He's been on every cable news show that would have him calling Trump a criminal and a threat to democracy. And now, when the shoe's on the other foot, suddenly it's political persecution. You can't have it both ways, Eric. If Trump needs to be investigated for everything he's ever done, then you need to be investigated too.

14:52
If the standard is that public officials should be held accountable for potential financial crimes, then that standard applies to everyone, not just the people you don't like. The Justice Department hasn't commented yet, which is appropriate, but NBC News confirmed the referral and multiple outlets are reporting that the investigation is moving forward. Here's what we know. Swalwell bought a house in DC. He took out loans on that house.

15:21
He claimed it as his primary residence. If he did that to get better loan terms, lower interest rates, better conditions, while actually living in California, that's textbook mortgage fraud. And it's not a small deal. We are talking about loans potentially worth millions of dollars over time. Swalwell says he's not going to stop speaking out against Trump and he's not going to drop his lawsuit. Fine. That's his right.

15:50
But it's also the DOJ's right and obligation, I must add, to investigate credible allegations of fraud. And if Swalwell is found guilty, he should face the same consequences as anyone else would. The difference between Trump supporters and people like Swalwell is this. We actually believe in the rule of law. We believe that if someone commits a crime, they should be held accountable, regardless of their political affiliation.

16:18
Democrats only believe in accountability when it's aimed at their enemies. So there you have it, patriots. Three stories that sum up where we are as a country. Story one, Trump and DeSantis are protecting our kids by getting illegal alien predators off the streets. That's leadership. Story two, an activist judge in Illinois is trying to release hundreds of detained illegal aliens because ICE didn't have the right paperwork. That's obstruction.

16:48
And story three, Eric Swalwell, one of Trump's biggest critics, is under investigation for mortgage fraud. That's karma. The pattern is clear. Trump is trying to restore law and order. Democrats and their allies in the judiciary are fighting him at every step of the way. And the same people who demanded Trump be investigated for everything are now crying foul when they are held to the same standard. If you haven't already, follow me on X at O'Connor Podcasts.
